MY NEW ROOM IS READY FOR VISITORS. PLEASE COME SEE ALL THE NEW THINGS AND HAVE TEA WITH YOUR DOLL. MY FRIEND ANNE DID ALL THE PAINTING AND DECORATING AND I CAN’T THANK HER ENOUGH. SHE IS A GENEROUS AND TALENTED FRIEND. KATHLEEN HUNG THE PICTURES AND DID THE FINISHING TOUCHES TO GET IT READY FOR ME. I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU VISIT ANYTIME TO SEE, JUST CALL ME AT 905-830-9850. BRING YOUR DOLL AND GET A FREE GIFT FOR HER. I AM STILL AT THE NEWMARKET FARMERS MARKET ON SATURDAY UNTIL 1 PM AND WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOU THERE AS WELL.

FARMER’S MARKET

THE NEWMARKET MAIN STREET FARMERS MARKET IS OPENING THIS WEEKEND – SATURDAY MAY 5TH. IT IS BEHIND MAIN STREET AND I AM HOPING FOR GOOD WEATHER AND LOTS OF GIRLS TO COME SEE MY NEW OUTFITS FOR SPRING. I AM VERY EXCITED ABOUT MY NEW ROOM. I HAVE BEEN CONVERTING AND DECORATING A BIG ROOM DOWNSTAIRS, DEDICATED JUST FOR MY DOLLS AND OUTFITS. SO FAR IT IS PAINTED ALL PINK AND IS LOOKING GREAT. I AM PLANNING ON HAVING TEA PARTIES FOR WHEN GIRLS BRING THEIR DOLLS AND COME VISIT MY NEW ROOM. I WILL POST PICTURES AND ANNOUNCE WHEN IT IS READY.

I HOPE TO SEE YOU AT THE MARKET THIS WEEKEND.

More Spring stuff

I love hats and am planning to make more summer dresses with matching hats. I also like capri pj’s for summer and knitted fluffy slippers. The gold dresses and shoes really sparkle and is good for Prom dress. As always, I welcome your comments and suggestions.

SPRING DRESSES

I AM MAKING LITTLE SPRING DRESSES IN KNIT JERSEY. I LIKE THEM PLAIN BUT DID MAKE VESTS AND HATS. I AM NOT SURE IF I SHOULD MAKE MORE VESTS AND HATS FOR THEM OR LEAVE THEM PLAIN – ANY COMMENT? ALSO BATHING SUITS WITH WRAP SKIRT. WILL BE MAKING 2 PCE BATHING SUIT AND COVER UP SOON.

BUNK BEDS

MY FRIEND MADE THESE BUNK BEDS AND ASKED ME TO HELP HIM SELL THEM, SO I MADE MATTRESSES, COMFORTERS AND PILLOWS FOR THEM. HIS WORK IS VERY GOOD AS HE MAKES THE STANDS THAT I HAVE AND HAS MADE SEVERAL QUALITY THINGS FOR ME. HE ONLY WANTS $80 FOR THEM, SO I DON’T THINK THEY WILL LAST LONG.

I DID ANOTHER “STARCATCHER” DANCE COMPETITION LAST WEEKEND AND FOUND OUT THAT MY LITTLE SKIRTS AND BODY SUITS ARE VERY POPULAR. I MADE 12 FOR THE SHOW AND THE GIRLS LOVED THEM AND TOOK HOME 9 OF THEM. I AM GOING TO MAKE A LOT MORE IN MANY COLORS FOR MY NEXT SHOW. I HAVE A LOT OF SEWING TO DO FOR SPRING AND CAN’T WAIT TO SHOW YOU. I AM ALSO MAKING BATHING SUITS FOR THE SUMMER AND WILL KEEP YOU UP TO DATE. AS ALWAYS, I APPRECIATE ANY COMMENT OR SUGGESTION.
