pink ballet

In Uncategorized on November 27, 2012 at 9:42 pm

I had a lady ask for a pink ballet outfit this weekend, so here it is.  It has 6 layers of netting underneath that needs fluffing.  Also comes with garment bag and hanger.

shoes

I thought Julie’s shoes looked too plain, so added ribbon straps.  Just finished Xmas pj’s with fluffy slippers.

Julie

In Uncategorized on November 22, 2012 at 3:46 pm

I made Julie a dress to go to a party and didn’t have shoes for her, so made her little golden slippers shoes.  I think she looks nice and will make another outfit with shoes.  Any comments or suggestions?

TEA PARTY

In Uncategorized on November 15, 2012 at 3:51 pm

I did a fashion show at a Tea Party yesterday.  It was the most amazing party.  The hostess had everything set up so well that it shocked me to see the trouble she took.  The dining room table was set up with little tea cups for the girls and tiny tea cups for the dolls.  It was beautifully decorated with tiers of cookies and cakes.  The pictures I took don’t do it justice.  Her daughter Katrina, 14 helped me with everything and I really, really appreciated her help.  These were the sweetest, most well behaved girls I have ever met.  The girl standing holding her blonde doll is Emma and her doll Emma.  Thank you so much AnneLena for working so hard, it certainly was spectacular!

I also put up a black blzer and tartan skirt set, as well as a Xmas dress with a matching cape.

Chrissa

In Uncategorized on November 12, 2012 at 11:32 pm

Chrissa is my girl and I felt bad that I was making all the other girls school uniforms and poor Chrissa didn’t have her own.  I think she looks adorable in her new outfit. Although, I am not sure if I should have put her in red  shoes and socks or a pair of boots!!  Any suggestions?  I think I will make her a little back pack. I also have to learn to fix her hair better.  I need Cassie and Jacqui to help me with their hair, but they are very busy girls.

Skinny leg jeans

In Uncategorized on November 12, 2012 at 11:41 am

Becky wore these on Saturday so I just had to make a pair.  They stretch and look good.  I think after I get some comments on them, I might make more.  Becky is hiding behind the dolls at the Easter Seals Benefit that we did last weekend.

I just noticed that I pulled the hat too much to the right.  Will fix!!  I am tired tonight and will stop sewing for the day.  Have the show tomorrow and hope it goes well.

Felicity & Addison

In Uncategorized on November 7, 2012 at 3:59 pm

Felicity is going figure skating in her new outfit.  Addison is going to a fancy Ball and I think that I will put sparkles on her skirt, but cannot decide if I should make her a matching tiara.  What do you think I should do?  Would it be too much?  HELP!!

warm & cozy

In Uncategorized on November 6, 2012 at 11:02 pm

It is getting so cold that I made the girls some robes and matching pj’s with fluffy slippers.  I can’t decide which of the lavender coats I like best.  The white fur or purple fur?   Any comments or suggestions I would appreciate.  The blue figure skating outfit has silver undies and really sparkles.  I am also working on Xmas dresses and have a lot of sewing to do for this weekend.  Come see me at the Community Centre in Newmarket from 1 pm to 4 pm this Saturday, Nov. 10th.  It is for Easter Seals and is a very good cause.  SO IF YOU HAVE THE TIME, DROP IN AND SEE MY NEW THINGS.

Irish dancing

We were at a Feis in Ancaster last week and had a great time.  Also, we did our first “fashion show” at a Birthday party and it was fun.  We forgot to have music for the background, but will know next time.  The girls were all so sweet that I think we are going to do it again for sure.
